Follow these steps to rid yourself of this burden!

Log into Facebook and click on the "arrow down" icon in the top right corner. Then select "Privacy Settings".

Find "Ads, Apps and Websites" and choose "Edit Settings".

Delete the "Post on my behalf" by clicking the "x". Change "Public" to "Only Me" and underneath that change "Notifications" to "never".
