A lot of people out there are afraid of cooking fish. I always suggest learning how to cook fish by searing ahi. It's quick, it's easy and it tastes awesome. Please let me show you how I do it.

I seasoned the tuna with salt and pepper according to my taste. I go light on the salt but heavy on the pepper.

Step 5 of 17
Test the pan by lightly pressing the fish against the surface. If it sizzles, you're good to go.

Penny, raw fish is A-ok. Asian cultures eat it all the time. Raw salmon and raw tuna are eaten all the time. Just make sure that it's fresh! You could do mahi mahi this but I personal prefer it cooked all the way

Could you make mahi mahi like this? Do you know any good recipes for making mahi mahi? I'm a little concerned about eating raw fish, is it ok?

I don't mind at all! It's basically a simple version that uses light mayo and wasabi paste with a touch of soy sauce
