How to Screencast From Your iPhone

How to record and make a video of your iPhone screen to make better iPhoneography SnapGuide tutorials.

Step 1 of 10

Download and open Display Recorder app. From the app. store. It costs $2.

Step 2 of 10

Open Display Recorder App and when you are ready, press record. You will want to check the settings too.Press home button and then go to another app. to record. Come back to this app. To stop.

Step 3 of 10

You can decide if you want just video (no sound), video with you narrating with voice/audio, or just audio. + other settings.

Step 4 of 10

I'm choosing just video for mine.

Step 5 of 10

When you stop recording, you can see your library of recordings. Then add your info.

Step 6 of 10

You'll have to add some details.

Step 7 of 10

You can play it back from here before sharing.

Step 8 of 10

Press the arrow to decide where to share. You can send to another app. "Coach's Eye" to add annotations. I'm saving to my library do I can upload to SnapGuide.

Yah, the screencasting app was just pulled from the app. store, sadly! Sorry about that. I made the photos like that using another app. called "Fuzel."

Yep. You are right. It's really too bad, and I didn't find out until after I made the guide. A workaround is the r Reflection App. for iPhone4s or newer iPads, although it only allows you to display your phone on the computer screen and screencast from there.
