Turning off Location in Apps you don't use is great for saving battery!!! Almost none really use it... And it literally eats up your power!!!

The biggest power sucker on the 4S is the 3G/4G connection, which is why they included an option to turn it off in the newest update. This will leave you running on edge, which is really slow, but if you're not going to be browsing or downloading anything, and your battery needs to last, it helps a lot.
