Determine the width of sections by the width of the rollers...

Comb each section of hair from the scalp and wind onto rollers with tension.  Make sure the hair is smooth and not bunched...

Try to place rollers as close as possible to help eliminate splits in the finished look...

Place client under the dryer for up-to an hour depending on texture of the hair...

Once dry, gently remove rollers...

On base/off base/ half base curls will give different volumes and styles. Also back combing freshens it up however I find gels or 'camel snot' will also affect different textures of hair. Thin hair does not want to use too much if any!
