Start by popping up the blades on the Honda and leave them point up.

There is a simple hook that holds the blade in place. You will be able to get better leverage by turning the blade sideways.

Once you have loosened the hook's grasp on the blade slowly slide it off.

Don't buy new wipers! Go to Honda and buy new Honda inserts! They work well, and are cheap! I bought new wipers and they would not shape to my windshield! Had to buy everything all over again. Wiper arms and inserts. 6 bucks for 2. 2006 civic
