Self harming is the act of causing oneself pain, with intent. It can be caused in anyway, such as cutting, burning. Sometimes people use drugs and acohol to damage their bodies.
Whatever you do, for whatever reason, is harming your body, and you know that you have to stop.
The first step is thinking of a small rewards system for yourself. It may sound silly, but I promise you, it works! This does work better if you have somebody you can trust to help you through it.
For example: One day: A small sweet Two days: A small packet of sweets Or One day: half hour run Two days: Fourty minute run It is up to you! And if you do not like the above, simply change it:)
Make a diary of you recovery. It could be a normal diary, or an online diary, or even a video/audio diary.
