Open up the app store

Search for "display recorder" app

It's the one on top.

Open up and download it. (I already downloaded it)

There it is. Now open it up

This is how it looks like. The red circle is to record, and the black square is to stop.

Here you see what you have recorded. Once you select it you can click on the top right button and...

YouTube camera etc. that's why it's so worth it.

I pressed on the camera roll. So now I'll wait like 5 seconds for it to export.

And now it's on my camera roll.... Ready to share with the world.

Without the concept of sharing pictures of my screen, then you wouldn't be able to view these guides on snapguides. Also let's say I want to show the world how my homescreen layout looks on my iPhone. What would I do? Take my bulky camera and try to snap a good picture.... That just makes no sense. That why snap shoring your screen for a photo or video is better than using a camera to capture what's on your screen. (feel free to ask anymore questions)

If they do better with visuals instead of text alone. Some people, even if they have text instructions, find it hard to figure out something if they don't have a reference point.😊

Hey Terri. Let's say you found a very cool picture on safari (Internet browser for iPhone ) and you want to share it with a friend through email, messaging, Facebook or Instagram taking a snapshot will be so simplistic and a cool way to share that picture, text etc...... A even better way is to be demonstrating/ showing that person through a video; and that's what this guide is about. (hope that helps!)

OK, I'm just not iPhone savy (or computer or TV remote or camera or well u get the idea) WHY WOULD I want to take a picture of my phone screen????????

Good guide, make sure you follow the devs notes regarding region change if required. Get quick, Apple will almost certainly pull this!

Looks like it has already been pulled from the app store... There is a cydia tweak called display recorder which does exactly the same thing... Its free.. To have cydia your device has to be jailbroken
