Step 1 of 7

This works best if you have longish, thick hair to work with. Get it down and pretty untangled.

Step 2 of 7

Pull your hair back, bangs out of your face and added into the high ponytail you've got going.

Step 3 of 7

Wrap the hair around where the ponytail meets your heard, starting closest to your head and winding your way out.

Step 4 of 7

Now get a loose strand and wrap it around the base of your bun a time or two, tucking it in tight with your nail.

and in the end it comes out like this.

If you're having trouble cause your hair's a little too thin, I would use hairspray or some bobby pins if you want to still do it.

My friend was able to do this in high school with her hair. It was fairly smooth with medium thickness.
