Step 2 of 6
Have an alcoholic drink ("hair of the dog"). I prefer one with juice so you get some much needed vitamins. In this case it is a "Salty Dog" (vodka, grapefruit juice, salted glass ).

The greasy food needs to be eaten before bed to prevent a bad hangover! Hangovers usually suppresses the appetite so its best to get the vitamins in and fill the stomach before sleep.

Sit down shower. Sit down shower cures even the worst of hangovers. <3

So as the alcohol is leaving those vestibular rings in the morning, it only feels more natural to add more alcohol to balance the loss from your vestibule system (reducing the effect of the hangover) but this alcohol needs to and will get out at some point so the delicious vodka ojs are just putting off the hangover so you can deal with it later on at work. And I apologize for my lack of punctuation as I am lying in bed promising myself I'll never drink again.

I agree with David. Also alcohol as it's density is slightly off compared to that fluid which determines where your body is in space (vestibule system) causing the spins at night doesn't cure your hangover in the morning it just delays the 'unwinding' detox process.

The side effects of aspirin, Tylenol and ibuprofen can be magnified when alcohol is in your system, so it is best (even though it may be the first thing you reach for) to avoid them to kill the hangover pain. Aspirin is a blood thinner, just like alcohol, and can intensify its effects and Tylenol (or acetaminophen) can cause more damage to your liver. Ibuprofen can also cause stomach bleeding. So be cautious when going for the quick relief.

Hmm, not sure this would work for those mornings that you wake up and can barley move... Last thing I want to do at times is drink or eat something

Also excessive drinking causes us to lose vitamin B, apparently. What has high vitamin B? Eggs. And beer!

Aspirin or ibuprofen before bed but no acetaminophen (Tylenol) as this is toxic to your liver. Of course plenty of electrolytes and water before bed as well. Eggs are recommended the morning because of it's cystine content which is depleted with all the detox you're going through.

Personally, before going to bed, I down a glass of water, and take a glass with me to bed for when I wake up. Also put 2 tylenol on the nightstand- I'm always grateful in the morning! And I find a greasy cheeseburger in the morning washed down with a Gatorade is the perfect breakfast of champions. :)

Trust me, I tried this before and at the end of the day I thought to my self "I don't want to be drunk again". Of course it wasn't the last one though 😃. If you know u r gonna be really drunk, remind your friend who's not gonna drink much or not drink at all to give u 2 panadol tablets to drink before u go to bed.

All good tips but Gatorade has always worked best for me. Just need to rehydrate and replace electrolytes after a night of drinking.

Good point! I don't eat breakfast usually either, but I find it helps!
