To clear things up: it only works if you have a flash!!! An LED won't pop out of nowhere when you get a text!

That's a very good question Jorn, and I really don't know the answer. My assumption is that do not disturb mode shuts off the notifications, including the LED. Let me know if it works otherwise!

Thank you:3 When I got my iPhone 4 for the 2nd time, I was experimenting and changing stuff. And I didn't realize that i had turned on the LED flash for alerts. So of course, whenever I got a notification my phone would flash. And I was scared to death, that I messed up my phone or something. So i turned the led flash off. thanks :)
