Step 1 of 8

First get your normal connector to the wall it can be anyone they both work.

Step 2 of 8

Now get your USB to iPhone or iPad iTouch connector.

Step 3 of 8

now get one if these. This us the extension that connects from the apple charger to your power wall. Depending in the size you can get is how long it will be.

Step 4 of 8

This is how it looks like. It cost a compile if buck. Don't pay more than $5.

Step 5 of 8

Now connect the extension cable to the apple brick power wall.

Step 6 of 8

Connect your apple USB connector to the opening if the cable extension.

Step 7 of 8

Now it's time to charge, and be able to use your iPhone from long distance.

I tried this before I went through the guide, it won't charge an iPad to full. Sometimes it stops at 70% and sometimes at 30%, not sure why

yeah, sometimes mines overheats too .___. also, it takes like 3 times as long to fully charge my iphone :\ BUT, strangely enough, my battery dies wayyy slower than when i charge it with the regular cable. i have to look into this a bit more.

It's probably your extender. Because I use it on my iPhone 3GS and it works with no problems.
