Take one third of the quilt and fold it.

Put the folded quilt to one end of your bed, preferably to the wall.

What a nice job you did. It looks so tidy and lovely. Your mom will be proud of you. Now tell your mom that everybody sweat a lot during the night and that sweat get absorbed by your mattress and quilt, if you put your quilt folded like this the moist stays inside the quilt, and this is a perfect place for bacteria and mites to grow in. Open a window , hang your quilt over a chair and you are done. But you still made a good job 😄
