Oh yum! I was raised by an Italian grandfather and he would occasionally make these on early Sunday mornings. I would love waking up to the scent of his baking all throughout the house, a memory I will always cherrish. I remember back in the 70/80's you could not buy Nutella off the supermarket shelves in the US. My grandfather would have to order it by mail back then. Unfortunately I am highly allergic to hazel nuts so I would have to use an alternative filling for my cornetti, any suggestions? A couple ideas come to mind but I always like to possibly hear of ideas I may not have thought of. Thanks so much for this guide, I can't wait to try your recipe. I'll post again and let you know how it turned out. :-)
