How to Make Water Marble Nails

Supplies

First fill you cup with water

Step 3 of 16

Prime your nails with white polish, I used Sally Hansen Xtreme wear White On #300

Step 4 of 16

The first piece of tape I wrapped around my finger, and the second I went from side to side running along the back of my finger nail

Step 5 of 16

Like so...

Step 6 of 16

Take a glob of nail polish and put it in the water, the polish should spread like mine, eventually the colors will form rings I made 9 rings 3 of each color. Work fast it dries quickly

Like so...

Step 8 of 16

Take the tooth pick and create swirls or a flower like pattern in the water,Drop the finger in wait 10 seconds, if the nails polish doesn't dry fast enough, blow on the top of the water,

Like so again... Blow or shake water for several seconds

Step 10 of 16

After you have dropped your finger in the water and nail polish, take a Q-tip and clean the access dried nail polish around the finger area

Step 11 of 16

No more polish...

Step 12 of 16

And BAMMMM! There are the beautiful swirls/patterns this make take a few times to get them perfect, it took me at least 25 tries!

Continue this process 8 mores time, because I did 2 nails in the videos... AFTER THE 8 MORE TIMES....

Peel off the gooey icky tape like so...

Step 15 of 16

Get the remover and pour some liquid in the cap,take a Q-tip and run along the edges of your nails to clean the dried nail polish off...

Step 16 of 16

After the clean up, Taaaaaa daaaaaa! You now have WATER MARBLED NAILS! Enjoy! ;) 💅💅💅💅💅

Do you have to use the clear base? And do you have to use white? I don't have either :/ but If it's possible to do without them I'm so doing it asap

If the nail polish is thick, try adding a little bit of polish remover to make it more liquidy and that should solve the problem! ;!

I think warm would be better because if you dip your nails in warm water, the polish dries faster.

Do you stick the tooth pick in nailpolish remover in between? Because for me the film already sticks to the pick when I try to swirl.
