Make sure you have everything.
Mix dry ingredients: Flour, sugar, baking powder & salt.
Add wet ingredients: milk, vegetable oil, & eggs.
Mix and let the batter sit for about 5 minutes.
Let your waffle iron heat up.
Spoon in some waffle batter. It will spread to about half the size of the iron.
When the indicator light turns green open the iron. Hey, how did it stick to the top!?
This recipe is supposed to make about 8 large waffles. I have a smaller waffle iron and can get a lot more waffles then that. My husband and I cannot eat the whole recipe so I make half.
This recipe is great when you add blueberries, chocolate chips, bananas, or my personal favorite - BACON! Make a bunch in the morning and keep the leftovers for dessert - ice cream sundaes!
