Liberally sprinkle Aromat. It is a seasoning salt, which I am not sure if it is found all round the world.

It is not sweet. One can leave out the ketchup if one would like. In South Africa, there is a lovely salad cream called Trim which is a seafood dressing. I used to use that and then did not use the Original Salad Cream not the Ketchup. I have made my comment about Aromat on the Aromat step.

Is it sweet? Can one skip the ketchup? What alternative to the Aromat?

You're welcome. I have done the calorie count and it is roughly 85kcal per 100g. That said, the crisps or crackers will destroy it!

That is what worried me a little. I am in the UK now and they have it here. I would think that some sort of salad seasoning spice would do it. But looking on Amazon, I just found - http://amzn.to/Hsc0xT

I've only found Aromat in South Africa. Haven't been able to find it in the States. What would be a good substitute?
