Step 2 of 7
Cut up Produce, place in Jar. If the Produce is already starting to decompose, even better. Use the produce that has attracted the gnats/fruit flies.

Lynn I would try the Borax mixed with Splenda and water all equal amounts. If she wants to try a protein base can mix bacon grease, Borax, and water equal amounts. Or just use the plain sugar, Borax, water equal amounts. I'd have several trays out till those buggers were gone!

I have read that Splenda kills them. I'll have to research it.

Wunderbar. This will save me having to constantly go to ACE hardware for those poisons that never work. Thanks Angie!

Frank it's your day! To get rid of ants mix equal parts Borax and sugar. Add enough water to make it look like pancake batter. Set it out by ants, they will come and eat it, take back to their nest, poisons the whole nest!

Now if I could find a guide to get rid of black ants, I'll be all set. Fruit flies, be ready to meet your maker! Thanks for the advice.
