Place sugar in jar.

I used 1-1/2 cups oil and 15 drops each of essential oil.

Step 3 of 8

Pour the oils over. And cap. Or reverse the mix. Preference is yours.

Step 4 of 8

I may like the oil first. Less than half the container. Then add the sugar. This is my first stab at this.

Step 5 of 8

Top with oil as needed.

Step 6 of 8

Put the cap on and a pretty paper strip. Add a label. Nice party favor. I am doing this for a baby girl shower. And a jar of spice rub. Photo follows.

I blended and need to label as well. "Sugar and Spice and everything nice...."

Don't use a glass jar as if dropped in shower, glass not so good. And caution to take care of slippery footage with oil on surface.

No you don't need the essential oil. That is for aromatics. I made a spice rub mix to pair with the scrub as a baby girl party thing of sugar and spice everything nice. Also OLEIC safflower oil does not get rancid. The other is fine but not as long on the shelf
