@Neil I'm not sure why it wouldn't cook for you, it's not usually necessary for the cookie layer to be cooked first. My only guess would be that everyone's oven is different so they all cook differently. If you try again go for a higher temp an it should work out just fine for you :)

missing? Figured maybe I should bake the cookie mix a bit first next time?

Neil Keene 6 months ago

Neil Keene

I tried this with high hopes but the cookie dough just ended up raw, even after more than an hour of baking. Is there something I am

Hey Taylor! Instead of making Oreo-stuffed Chocolate Chip Cookies, I remembered I liked your Slutty Brownies a while back and we made these instead! My son calls 'em "Wild Brownies" which suits me fine (lol), but I DID add something else.....on top of where each Oreo Cookie sits, I put a piece of cream cheese. That's right. I said it. Cream freakin' cheese. Law hab murcee. Sound that out.

Big Guy Big Flavors

You are the only person I know that made a blondie, within a cookie, within a brownie! I wont make it now since I'm detoxing, but I will make it soon, and when I do, I will marble the brownie layer with chunky peanut butter and salted carmel and perhaps some crymbles pretzels! If I'm gonna have a heart attack, might as well get a slut to cause it, and there aint nothing sluttier than those hoochy mama brownies!

Erica Kefah Legaux Abdullah

Weena! That's so funny! It's my dream to live in Dubai for a year. Our American Oreos are an inch n half or more. Smaller than a cupcake. I guess Taylor is right. Americans are overweight.

Erica Kefah Legaux Abdullah 11 months ago

Taylor Roellig

Weena, haha those are our normal sized Oreos. Us Americans are fat. Lol everything is supersized. Good luck though hope you love it!

(author) 11 months ago

Weena Navoa

Hey Taylor. Followed your recipe. Why are your oreos so huge. The ones in Dubai are just half the size! Will let you know how it will turn out.

Weena Navoa 11 months ago

Taylor Roellig

Weena, I'm sure you could though marshmallows arent my thing. If you do that be sure to watch them. It might make a difference in how much time you cook them for.

(author) 11 months ago

Weena Navoa

Can you use marshmallows instead of oreos?

Weena Navoa 11 months ago

Taylor Roellig

Nope

I made this with homemade cookie dough and boxed brownies. Mine needed 50 min in a 9x13x2 pan. Just a heads up in case yours isn't looking done in 30. It tasted amazing - for me, much better the next morning when cooled completely.
