Samantha: it gets more soggy depending on how you cut it before boiling. A large bun makes it firm, and as shows in the guide makes it more soggy.

Does it get soggy like the fake chickens and meats when you put it in stuff? I can't stand to cook with meat substitutes because they're so soggy and gross. I can only stand nuggets and patties.

Seitan tastes mainly of what you put it in. It's very healthy and nutritious too.

I think whats left after the kneding/water-step is called "Gluten": the pure wheat protein. Can you add salt and/or spices to it before cooking in water?
