My grandmother used to make these in a tomato based and braised beef short rib sauce with green peppers & other things. I can't remember the recipe but last made it with her when I was 12. She called them knock-outs. Does anyone else know of this recipe?
Put potatoes in a pot with salted water and bring to a boil. Less time, same result. Try them with tomato sauce and don't fry gnocchi,, must remain soft! Melt butter and sage before and pour it on gnocchi as soon as the water drained
