To toast the hazelnuts, arrange in a single layer on a baking sheet. Bake in a preheated 350 degrees F oven for 15 to 18 minutes until lightly toasted. Cool completely before using.
Skin the hazelnuts after they've come out of the oven
Put the chocolate chips in a microwave safe bowl for a minute. (I used my measuring cup because it's already microwaveable) When the chocolate comes out of the microwave, stir until its smooth
In a blender, add your roasted hazelnuts
Then pour your condensed milk
Blend well, scraping down the bowl as needed. The mixture should come out pasty
Pour in the COOLED chocolate (it MUST be cooled)
Blend well, scraping the sides as needed
Transfer the spread to a bowl
I served mine with crackers, but you can serve yours with anything you'd like, such as sliced fruit, bread, etc. Enjoy!
