Put the chocolate chips in a microwave safe bowl for a minute. (I used my measuring cup because it's already microwaveable) When the chocolate comes out of the microwave, stir until its smooth

In a blender, add your roasted hazelnuts

Then pour your condensed milk

Blend well, scraping down the bowl as needed. The mixture should come out pasty

@abby, I knew it had no meat in, that would be so much easier to spot! It's the sneaky whey powder, gelatine, and the ton of other stuff they like to sneak in. Also if your best friend was eating Nutella before 2012 she will have unknowingly been eating ingredients from an animal source I am sad to say! I have nearly been caught out so, so many times with such things you have to be so vigilant and check everything. In the UK we are reasonably lucky as it is common practice to label everything if suitable for vegetarians, of course some exceptions do apply so that's where the extra vigilance comes in. :-)

I have just looked again as I was correct in my statement as it wasn't suitable, but hadn't checked in the last 6 months. I am now they have now made it suitable for vegetarians, after so may people requested it. It used to contain whey powder derived from animal origin but now it is from a microbiological source.

@Caz Draven there is no meat in nutella! One of my best friends is a vegetarian and she eats nutella all the time! Did you maybe mean to say vegan???
