When eggs are fully cooked, remove them with metal tongs.  The eggs may be spotted, but that's OK.

Slice eggs lengthwise.  Remove yolk and place in mixing bowl.  Place egg white in a deviled egg container or holder.

Add relish, mayo, slaw dressing, and mustard.

I love the idea of diced pickles! Maybe that's why I always struggle to peel the eggs... Because they are always fresh! That would make sense!

We love deviled eggs in our family, and found fresh eggs always are difficult to peel. If I know I will be making them ahead of time I always buy them well in advance. Have you found if using fresh eggs they still peel easily? Also, I like putting tiny diced pickles in mine for a little tangy taste. Thanks for such great instructions!

Dill WEED (not dill seed) is also a yummy topping for deviled eggs. Great red and green, if you alternate dill topped eggs with paprika topped eggs at holidays.

@Brown Bengal - you just made my night!! Thanks for the kudos! I couldn't tell a bit of difference in taste with boiled vs baked, but I thought the baked were a little easier to peel and kept their shape better. Before I would always massacre at least 2-3 eggs in a batch, but this time I got all 12 to peel great! As a side note, this recipe was inspired by the baby shower for my second child, 8 years ago. Hurricane Isabel hit our area two days before the shower and there was no power... So my cousin made deviled eggs on the grill (she had the mayo and eggs in a cooler with ice!). I would definitely recommend baked over grilled, lol!

@mia that might be ur recipe. There is lots of different ways and variations on how to make things. Personally, I use mayo, mustard, salt, pepper, and paprika, but the relish does sound interesting.
