Prep fill 5 gallon bucket with 4 gallons hot tap water and put lid on it bring 1 gallon of water to simmer on the stove add 1 cup of wash soda, 1 cup of Borax and 1 cup wash Soda

Add shredded Fels Naphtha Soap to pot Melt all soap and powder in 1.5 gallon pot while water still simmers. It is important to stir frequently and make sure the Fels Naphtha soap is dissolved.

Once everything is dissolved and free of lumps, carefully pour the cooled liquid into the 4 gallons of warm water. Since we chose a 5 Gallon Bucket, there will not be much room left at all

Stir gently until liquids are fully mixed close lid lightly let cure for 24 hours open lid stir with a whisk you will have a chicken noodle soup consistency like liquid 1/4 to 1/2 cup /load

The cost for my load of laundry is about 1 cent per load versus liquid tide for about 30 cents a load This is a low sudsing detergent enjoy Rima's Soapy Kitchen
