How to Make Lip Balm
Gather ingredients.... Measurements in the supplies list :)
This is what I found at a craft store down the painting aisle..
First, grate beeswax.....
Until you get enough for 4 tbs....
Add in a small/medium bowl....
Add Shea butter.... The packet I bought was already a measured ounce. :)
Add coconut oil.....
Micorwave for 30 seconds......
Stir and repeat until fully melted....
Like this!
Transfer a little bit of the mixture to your square of aluminum foil....
Wait until it looks like....
This!! Now test it on your lips....if you'd like it thicker, add some more grated beeswax and put it back in the microwave for 30 seconds.
Now add your essential oil.... Mine is spearmint! :)
Mix......
Use a medicine dropper, funnel, etc, to put the mixture in to the paint pots..... Whatever works for you!
The batch makes about 6.
