Part III & Final... I have made the mistake of naming (my butter) 'Smart Balance'... I have not tried that. I use only Earth Balance. I refuse to shop at Walmart or let alone walk in Walmart... But my husband said they now have Earth Balance butter. Again, it really is not butter. I don't know how they make it taste like 'butter'... I freeze mine bc I buy them in bulk from co-ops. HTH! Guess what's for dinner tonight?!! Thank you!!!

Part II... I use it in absolutely everything that calls for butter. I often get the ugly faces when I inform my guest that I do not have their butter or margarine. I plead with them to please just give it a try... Out of ALL who have had it, only 1 couple said it tastes like margarine & not butter. I don't know what margarine tastes like and am not going to find out. I do warn you, it is expensive... But a little bit goes a super long way!...

Ah ha! What a real nice low fat meal! I am extremely allergic to butter... More than extreme... So I use what's called, "Earth Balance" I kid you not, it is NOT butter. It tastes EXACTLY like LoL butter.. It's 100% vegan. ...

I did mine on 275* and it worked pretty well! :) thank you so much for posting this I used to do this in a pan were I was usually able to only cook a handful, now this is such a simply trick that I can't believe I haven't thought of it yet. Thanks again :)

If the shrimp are already cooked, and you cooked them for 15 minutes in a 350 degree oven, wouldn't they end up tough?
