Do the Candy's dissolve in the vodka? Or did you have to find a way to filter them out?

This looks like fun; how long does it keep after adding the Jolly Ranchers? Does it go bad over time?

I usually drink it with mineral water, but I have friends who like it with a couple of ice cubes in a Old Fashion glass and drink it straight, it's quite strong flavor. You can always make a shot straight from the bottle.

would you drink it straight? or mix it with something? Xx

@johnbonner No, you don't put the 160ml back that volumne it's roughly the volumne of the candies. When you finish the recipe you will not have any space left in the bottles. You can either drink the extra ml or you can place it in another bottle and make a new flavor.

Do you later put back the 160ml in the bottle? The UK stopped producing Jolly Rachers years a go due to artificial colours & flavours in it. You can pick them up on eBay or speciality American sweet sellers. Febwicks department store in Eldon Square Newcastle sell them in their American sweet section. Where ever you get them from in UK they'll be expensive dinero be be imported from USA.

For me, I think the best flavor it's Apple.

temp. Alcohol does not freeze, but gets thick & syrupy which is perfect for shots or an ice cold Flavored Martini!

New tip, no straining required if you use Jolly Ranchers. I keep the flavored Vodka in the freezer after the 72 hours at room

Russell Lewis

Do you have to strain it like with the Skittles Vodka?

What would you use in England?

Try 12 Jolly Ranchers for a 1/2 bottle if Vodka. Good ratio of flavor. I used Blue Raspberry Jolly Ranchers with a 1/2 bottle of Ketel One Vodka. Large opening on bottle easily accommodates the Jolly Rancher Hard Candies.
