1. First thing to do is cut both hoodie sleeves. Weโ€™re gonna use the upper part as the shoe bottom cover.

2. Try inserting your flat into sleeve. To make the boots fit perfectly, try putting it on.Then pin the sleeve following your leg.Make sure to add extra 1/2cm so your boot wonโ€™t be too tight.

3. Trim the excess fabric. Then sew along your pins. Leave the bottom open because we will glue whatโ€™s left from the fabric to our flatโ€™s body.

4. As seen in pic #3, you'll have excess fabric from the sleeve at the bottom. Fold that excess inside (to between your flat & outer side of the boot), then glue it onto the flatsโ€™ body using glue gun

5. You can always do extra decor to your boots. I add two buttons which I found on my hoodie to my boots. You can never be too creative for your own creation, right ๐Ÿ˜‰

Ah, i get it now. Mine also had rhinestones on it but they're so tiny i don't have to do anything & simply cover them with the fabric. But if the rhinestone is big I think you can rip it off your shoe. Doesn't matter since you're going to cover whole of your flats anyway...hth :D

@ Anna good luck, i'm sure it'll come out great ๐Ÿ˜ƒ. , @ Waverly i don't know about rhinestone but i use buttons that are already attached on my hoodie & it shows up great ๐Ÿ˜Š i think you can add studs & make it even more awesome ! :)

Hello, thankyou so much for your comments ๐Ÿ˜ƒ. Sorry, I think I didn't explain #4 quite well hehe. Melissa is right, tq for helping, what I'm trying to say is when you insert your flats into the sleeve, you will have extra fabrics from the sleeve left at the bottom. Just like in pic #3, notice the extra fabric at bottom of the shoe :). In step #4, all you gotta do is glue that extra into your flat's body. But to make it looks tidy, fold the extra to between your flats and outer side of the boots. Then apply the glue. That's it, now you have a basic boots..and a very comfy one too ๐Ÿ˜Š hope it helps :)
