How to Make Homemade Laundry Stain Remover

I spray on stains as I see them. Let it sit or throw straight in wash, depending on how bad it is. If a really bad stain, I scrub it in with an old toothbrush.

This is amazing! I used it to get a horrible stain out of the altar cloth from church.

I saw your Peroxide 3 note. What does it mean? Can I use it, or will it not work?

That's a cool way to see if another brand of soap will work!

As long as the other repels grease, it will work. Fill a bowl with hot water, pour a little oil in it. See the skim on top? That's the oil. Add drops of other brand on water. If the oil moves away from it, it will work. :)

Does it have to be dawn or can I use another soap like palmolive or sunlight ?

Lucy Hudnall

Oh sorry, it's dish washing liquid that repels grease.

Lucy Hudnall

I've not had that problem. But if concerned I'd try it on an inconspicuous spot first.

Does it bleach at all? I would think the peroxide for sure would bleach, or at least lighten.

It's a dish soap in North America very mild but works extremely well on fats n grease
