I saw someone ask about making them anti bacterial- try essential oils like lemon or teatree. They have anti bacterial and anti fungal properties. Only a few drops needed go long way. Must be diluted. But research what is safe for baby. Great post Lucy!

What a sweetheart. Certainly NOT YOUR FAULT. And yes I use serrated knife, I didn't have a butcher knife that was sharp enough. Hey nobody else had any problems. The towels themselves were wonderful and no they weren't sticky at all, just like u said. I will do better and let u know:). just me. t

Cut with regular butcher knife in half like the picture.

(author) 8 months ago

Lucy Hudnall

Did you use a serrated knife?

(author) 8 months ago

Terri Dahlgren

I made these for the first time. I used Bounty Paper Towels and they just shredded where I cut them apart. Did I cut them wrong or do you think it's just the brand I used? Do u just used a knife to cut them? just me t

I've not had a batch to feel soapy. There is a moisturized feeling that is left on the skin.

(author) 9 months ago

Terri Dahlgren

Is it soapy at all. Does it leave a residue? Nice guide. just me t

Rubbing alcohol is antibacterial naturally. I'd say you could replace some of the water with it. Not sure on the ratio though. I'd start out with no more than 1/4 cup rubbing alcohol and 1 3/4 cup water. Thanks for the new twist!

Lucy Hudnall

Great Dana!

(author) 9 months ago

Chantana Schnare

I think the gel will be fine as long as it is mixed well with the water and baby wash before you put in the paper towels.

(author) 9 months ago

Dana Mitchell

Will it make a big difference if the baby oil is left out? Or a difference if I use baby oil gel?

Dana Mitchell 9 months ago

I have figured each roll made cost is 33 cents if I pay full price for the ingredients.

I've not tried it without the oil but olive oil would be as effective.

Do you think it would be alright to not use the oil? I don't have any at the moment! Unless my wife has it hidden away somewhere.
