How to Make Healthy Vegan Chocolate Banana "Ice Cream"!

This is a recipe I have made for years. It's so easy and very healthy! It only contains four ingredients. No one will believe it's made from frozen bananas!

Hey Sam- I guess I meant texture not flavor. Maybe I should change my wording in the guide? Nice hearing from you again and take care! :-)

I've realized that now. I guess my expectations were different because the description of the guide said ".. No one will believe its made from frozen bananas!", and so I assumed that the taste of banana would be masked. :)

Hi Sam- the predominant flavor is always going to be banana- adding chocolate or vanilla won't mask the taste- it will just mix with it. Try adding peanut butter- it's a strong flavor that goes well with bananas! Also, try adding half the milk and see if it comes out thicker next time. Good luck!

Tried this 2 times and didn't like the way it turned out. The taste of banana was overpowering both the vanilla essence and the chocolate powder. Also, it came out too loose, rather than softie ice cream like. Will try again with Milk / cream ...

Hi Ashley- most people don't realize that they don't need the Yonanas machine! It's just a blender. There are a zillion different banana soft-serve ice cream recipes out there on the Internet! Let me know how it turns out!

This is great! I have honestly thought about buying the noisy Yonanas machine but this works for me because I keep purΓ©ed banana in sandwich bags in the freezer for any baking emergency. Now I will just let it thaw a bit and I'm in business! Thanks!!

Jesenia- I've kept it in the freezer for a few weeks. We always eat it so it never lasts long! I've kept cut up frozen bananas (not the banana ice cream) in the freezer for months.

I tried this and it was excellent. I'll be making this more often this summer ether than going out for/buying ice cream. Thanks for the share

Gonna try this soon thanks. Wonder if it would work with Guinness instead of the soy milk. Sorry I try to put Guinness in everything.

Just made this-it was great. I needed a little more soy milk and I added a little bit of agave nectar because my bananas were not quite ripe enough. Will be making this A LOT!!!

I've making banana ice cream for my daughter for 2 yrs now & we both love it! I usually just make it with frozen bananas but I'm going to try it your way. Looks delicious and a lot cheaper than dairy free ice cream! πŸ˜ƒ

It will make about 2 big servings (what I like!) or 4 small ones.

How many servings will this make approximately?

I hope you all like it! Try experimenting with different flavors instead of chocolate. Peanut butter works really well. I bet blending in fruits (like strawberries or mango) would be amazing. I'm always looking for new ideas.

Of course! I just use non-dairy since I'm vegan. But you could use anything. Let me know how it turns out.

For those who don't mind adding dairy, do you think cows milk would be ok to use here?
