I also have rice flour on hand I could try. Maybe half rice flour and half candy coated sunflower seeds instead of the coconut. My daughter refused to eat the coconut flakes. Thanks for a great recipe !

Bjorn- there is almond butter and i believe sunflower seed butter you could use unless you are not able to eat nuts.

Abby- Per Women's Day: Answer: As coconut is usually part of the dry mix, you could replace it with an equal amount of the flour used in the recipe; unprocessed bran; oats; ground nuts or even chopped dried fruit. Hemp seeds, carrots, almonds. I have Not tries these. Just suggestions from the internet. Hope this helps.

I have only made it with the coconut flakes. You can experiment and try other things. You could search the web for a replacement that you would like.
