The most likely cause is that the heat was too high. If you did it in the microwave try it on med power for 15 seconds stir and repeat. If you're using a double boiler ( or a metal bowl/pot over a pot of boiling) make sure it's on low temp. I hope that helps. Also if you're using real chocolate add about a half tbsp of butter to smooth it out.

Haha they are the same photos--I made the pretzels with the leftover chocolate from the pretzels! :) I figured I had to explain how to do it again tho in case someone read this one but not the truffle one.
