Next, put the glue on the rim of the candle stick holder....

Measure where you want the candle...

Now that the candle is cut, we want the candle to be able to stat still.  Burn the bottom of your candle until a couple drops of wax fall, and place in holder....

I don't see anything wrong with the candy before the wax has spilled on it..... But after the wax has spilled, I don't think it should be eaten.....(we used the emergency candles, and they haven't left wax on the candy thus far;)
