Next add a nude, healthy nail looking color haha. I used sheer blush by Revlon.
Step 3 of 7
Cut your fimo fruit shapes, or you can paint on the fruit! I bought this fimo on eBay for 6$ and I got 100 sticks of it!! soo worth it! Although it's hard to cut thin so I suggest buying it precut!
Step 4 of 7
I'm using watermelon and lime lol. Anyway frenchtip your nails according to the color of the fruit you want. I didn't make it perfect because I'm covering it with glitter. But that's optional!
Step 5 of 7
This is how I stuck the fimo on. And if you don't use glitter then you can just use topcoat!
Step 6 of 7
After all the fruit was on...
Step 7 of 7
And add a topcoat to seal everything in! I'm in love with theselike&follow<3
Well it really depends on how thin you cut them, and what topcoat you use. The thinner you cut them the better they stay on because they shape to your nail. I'm pretty sure using a uv gel topcoat would work well!
Clever idea! How long do the fruit pieces stay on? I wonder if a uv gel top coat would give more staying power? I'm definitely going to use this on my toes.
Haha okay! Thanks so so much ;) I'll try to remember to say u told me the technique in my next tutorial! Can't paint until Sunday though. P.S. follow me ? (;
