These are the ingredients you need 💁
You can use any red velvet cake mix or make your own from scratch (there's a few recipes on snap guide that you can use)
Prepare your cake as directed on the box.
I used two 9 inch pans (sprayed with cooking oil)
Try to fill them evenly and I try to spoon the mixture outward so the top doesn't rise too much, which makes it harder to layer.
Let it cool while you start on your frosting.
Add 1/2 cup of melted butter to your bowl.
Add 1 small tub of cream cheese. That's 12 ounces.
Add 2 cups of powdered sugar. TWO.
Now mix it until it's nice and creamy.
Once your cake is completely cool. Place it on a cutting board and slice the top with a long serrated knife so it can be flat.

Add a blob of frosting in the middle of your plate where you will be serving your cake. This is so your cake can stick.
Place it on top. I flipped mine over so it's upside down (easier to frost this way).
I did the whole bottom layer first ...
Frost the rest of the cake...
