Step 1 of 7

Uh oh... Mom forgot to add ketchup to the grocery list! Forget about going back to the grocery store on a Saturday, and to hell with paying $6+ at the local convenience store.

Step 2 of 7

Gather your supplies.

Step 3 of 7

Stir all of your ingredients together except the water. Bring to a boil and then add enough water to reach your desired consistency.

Step 4 of 7

Be an ass and pour it into the empty ketchup bottle and don't tell anyone.

Step 5 of 7

Give it a shake, store it in the fridge and see if anyone notices the difference.

Step 6 of 7

Same stuff.

Step 7 of 7

Now you actually have a good base for other add ins. Get creative! We're up 1/3 of ketchup for about 50 cents. I just might stop buying ketchup altogether!

Great job boss, even if you have a fresh bottle in the fridge, it makes everything better when you take the 7 min to fire off batch like that! Pop in 1/4 clove of roasted garlic then nail it with a matching dose of cayenne, all of a sudden you just gave Heinz the desperate boob job they secretly needed!
