Make sure the water is only simmering and you have a bowl that fits well, this prevents water from coming in contact with the chocolate via steam or condensation

Water coming into contact with the melting chocolate will cause the chocolate to seize and will be unusable!! 💀

Add chocolate to double boiler and stir frequently to avoid scorching

While chocolate is melting, prepare your piping bag. I put mine in a glass, it makes it much easier to put anything like the melted chocolate or frosting inside.

Stir chocolate frequently until completely melted... Delicious.

Once chocolate is melted, pour into piping bag. Chocolate will be hot so be careful to not burn yourself!

Wait a bit for the chocolate to cool, it makes piping much more manageable. Pipe whatever design you like onto parchment paper. Once your done, place in fridge and wait to harden

Yes Felicia, any chocolate will do. I used Bernard Callebeaut milk chocolate. You can also use half white and half dark in the piping bag for a swirl effect
