First cut the straps off the flip flops

Get your fabric. I'm using an old aero shirt.

Cut a small strip of fabric (about 6 inches) and push both ends through the top hole.

Pull the strings though and tie a double knot leaving a small loop.

Cut the excess fabric off. I left small tail in case I need to re-tie it later.

Cut a large strip of fabric. I did the perimeter of the bottom of the shirt. Pull it through the loop.

You can then either tie a knot at your ankle…

Or do what I did and tie three knots on the top of your foot and then tie the knot around your ankle.

Then take two pieces of fabric (about 10 inches)

Put the shoes on and pull the string till its comfortable and looks good. Tie a double knot.
