@Joaquin Buñuelos come in different sizes. They can be made with different ingredients into the dough balls you described or also the tortilla discs described in this guide. The main attributes are that they're fried and covered in sugar or somehow sweetened.

Hmmmm im from Mexico thats traditional from here and im no sure of the taste with flour tortillas because here we do the buñuelos with something like a dough
