Preparation time - 10mins + Keeping in the refrigerator for overnight. Cooking time - Approx 1 hour.

You will need this ingredients. "Char Siew Seasoning Mix Powder" "Char Siu Sauce" "Dark Soy Sauce" and Sugar.

You need 3 of this size of meat (Shoulder Butt)

Add all the ingredients to the meat and marinate in a container. 3 tbs Char Siew Powder, 2 tbs Char Siew Sauce, 1-2 tbs Dark Soy Sauce, 4 tbs Sugar.

After adding the ingredients and marinate it will looks like this. Cover with the container lid and store it the fridge overnight. Cook it on the next day..

The next day, bring out the marinated Char Siew from the fridge. Remove the Pork from the marinated sauce, do not throw the sauce away. Lay them (the pork only) on the baking tray with aluminum foil.

Bake @ 350 degrees Fahrenheit for 20mins. Bring it out and flip to another surface of the pork and bake another 20mins till its cooked. You need to flip once only.

Let it cool down before slicing them into pieces.

It goes well with white rice. It's the asian/chinese Char Siew Rice. For the sauce that goes over the Char Siew Pork and rice, please go to next step.

Boil the marinated sauce in low heat, add in half - a cup of filter tap water. Add 1 Tbs of Oyster sauce to thicken the sauce. Let it boil till bubbles appear and till it's fully cooked.

The boiled sauce will go over the Char Siew + Rice. If you are a chilli lover add on with the bottled Garlic Chilli / Chicken Rice Chilli. You are ready to tuck in! Hope you enjoy your Char Siew Rice!
