Yes in an oven, if it's medium heat you shouldn't need to cover it :) let me know how it goes!

When you put everything in the casserole dish and cook for 40 minutes, are you doing this in the oven? And are you cooking it covered or uncovered? That's all I need to know and I'm going to make it.
