Pre-heat oven to the temperature required for your chosen pizza crust.
If you are using dough and not a pre-cooked crust, I recommend cooking it halfway in the oven (after it's pre-heated) without any sauce or toppings, then taking it out and adding the toppings.
The reason for this is because the sauce you are going to make is a little thinner than what you normally put on pizza and can soak into the dough and keep it from cooking completely otherwise.
Bake your pizza based on the instructions for your pizza crust. :) if you already cooked the crust halfway, you won't need to cook it as long.
