Just now putting a loaf into the oven of Costco's (La Brea Bakery) Rosemary Olive Oil bread, I rough cut the onions & grilled them to add a bit of color, will add some parsley flakes (next time I'll plan ahead & have fresh parsley). Have to admit that I'm pondering a cheddar & salsa loaf in my future - have to figure out the type of bread....

Reading your comments, I am glad you like, and like many of you I would not suggest a different bread. To me the sourdough is what makes this so good.

Jeka Baby

I think we used jack cheese for this one, but you can use any kind you like. Mozzarella, provolone or swiss would be good..

We made this in cooking school and used processed Swiss cheese believe it or not and it melts better than most other cheeses.

Serena, we also make this with pizza filling, stuff with cheese, use melted butter with Italian seasoning, use pizza sauce to dip it in.

It's an Italian season blend but you could use any you like

Fran Pierre

It's just a seasoning blend available in a handy little shaker. I'm sure you could just use your favorite seasonings. (:
