Disclaimer: I do not claim to know the authentic hummus recipe. This is my version of hummus.

I use the wand blender because I think it works better  than  a regular blender. Blend until the mix becomes white and frothy

Hummus is nothing more than chickpeas and the tahini, any other flavors ate what your heart desires! I've made everything from sun-dried tomato hummus to garlic hummus to chipotle hummus... Looks good! The lemon probably gives it a nice tang!
