You're welcome Zig Zag! And thank you for the tip for the sweet potatoes!

Zig Zag

Try this with sweet potatoes or yams!!! I just put a light coat of corn oil on and sprinkle kosher salt just on the top, no pepper on the sweets. Thanks Lucy, for all of your great guides!

Stephani you are so welcome. I tried the Kosher salt because of a cooking show I watched. I'm so pleased with it.

I kind of used too much in the butter but my husband is a "saltaholic" so I know he will like it. I think I will put Kosher salt on the grocery list ;) thanks again for all your posts and tips! Stephani.

Yes, you can. I like the larger crystals of the Kosher salt. May want to use less of table salt since it is smaller in size to avoid being too salty. 😃

I notice in the last two recipes you use Kosher salt, if I do not have or buy Kosher salt, is it ok to use regular table salt? I cannot wait to try baking my potatoes like this!

Ah I see so I could use regular sea salt as they are also larger crystals! Ive never heard of this brand before, do they sell in the UK? Thanks for a detailed response x

Lorelle Lambert 7 months ago

Lucy Hudnall

Oh no, you can use any brand. I do suggest using Kosher type. The salt is in larger crystals and the taste is so much better. If you haven't tried it. You just must. It will change you!😀

Lorelle Lambert

Do we have to use this specific brand of salt?
