How to Make Bananas Flambé Pancakes

I've had this pancake recipe for years. It makes the lightest, fluffiest, most crisp pancakes. These are as close to perfect as you can get. I decided to spice them up with some Bananas Flambé!

You are a genius. I used half flour and half oatmeal flour and butter milk instead of milk. Spiced rum too.

Part III & final, Baking & cooking is all about the individual and has nothing to do with recipes you find. When you put your heart & soul into your food, everyone who eats it will sincerely feel the love! I really believe our energy is very much felt by those all around us. So, @ MP, I hope this makes you feel empowered! You can truly do ANYTHING once you have your mind set to it! @Lisa.... I've made this moons ago and have to do it again! This wknd as a matter of fact and... Many thanks to you for the wonderful memories!!!

Part II, I've been baking, doing pastry baking, cooking everything imaginable (well...certain cultural cuisines I steer clear from due to smell, or due to the 'heat' of required dish..) that's just me. When you eventually overcome your fears, you'll truly LOVE the exhilarating feeling of freedom to bake & cook ANYTHING you want with pure confidence and most importantly a very positive attitude of, I CAN make or do this and or that. It will not work with pessimistic attitudes of, I can't. ...

Part I, I'll be making this for brunch this weekend!! It's been awhile since I've made a flambé based dish! It is just so much fun! If you have any fears firmly set in mind, just don't try flambé based dishes. I would highly recommend signing up for culinary classes if your culinary school has a special course now and then. It will help you wipe out whatever fears you have.

Thanks! If you have an electric stove, you have to use matches or a lighter.

Jonica Rasi

Sounds taste! To allow the alcohol to catch flame do you have to have a gas stove? I don't have a gas stove.... Or could you light it yourself with a lighter?
