Add the cinnamon. Add this point, adjust the sweetness according to your tastebus and put a dash of salt. For those who like it hot, put lil amount of finely chopped red-chili

Bring this aromatic poached fruits to simmer for 5 minutes to reduce the sauce a little and let the aroma and spice blend into the fruits.

ur welcome cathy 😊 in Indonesia we call it 'setup' (indo pronounced). my grandma used to make it for me, the fruits are usually 'salak' (snake fruit), pineapples, or 'jambu air' (water-guava? lol ... not sure what to call in english). hope u enjoy it as much a I do. it brings my childhood memory back
