First, you need to make the sealer. This is basically a homemade Modge-Podge. Take your Mason jar and fill it with glue and water. About half each, but use a tad more glue then water.

First, select and print the pictures you would like to use. I used more rustic pictures with a darker feel to better fit the motif of my color scheme.

Paint the canvas whatever color you want as a background. This color will only be seen between the gaps in the pictures. I chose black, as I am going for a darker color scheme.

After you add your Modge-Podge, your collage will look like a God-awful mess ;) Don't worry about it, just let it dry.

Add a second coat. The pictures will be wrinkled. THAT IS OK. You want the pictures to be rugged and wrinkled by the end of second coat.

Lastly, take your sharpie and write the words on the collage (next step).

Step 18 of 20
I found a picture with the words on it, so I am omitting the sharpie for this picture. "And in that moment, I swear, we were infinite."

Yes, the pictures will be wrinkled. In fact, they will be lifting up off the canvas, too. It won't be flat; it will be a very textured piece.

First the glue will dry in blobs like dew on grass. The second time, the glue will spread a lot better, and will dry completely clear.

Does the glue completely dry, or can you see it? Also, will the pictures be wrinkled in the end?
